Again, I say unto thee....

Lest it be forgotten...
If i ever dress up for RenFest, or shall we say, Rennaissance Festival,... I shall dress up as.... a king. No, not like King Henry the 8th (VIII) I am, I am.... and not as cool as the mo'f'n Burger King mascot dude whose commercials are so awesome, i crack up each time i see them....

Nay, instead, anon, I dost consider playing th part of a king... that of Elvis.

Quit giving me the "You have GOT to be sh!ttin' me" look. I'm serious.

Kings had crowns.
Elvis had jeweled sunglasses...and hella lot of rings.

Kings had jewelled robes.
Have you SEEN what Elvis wore? Yes. Jewelled AND sequined.

Kings had minstrels.
Screw that. Elvis could sing, hunka hunka, uh huh huh.

Kings had royal guards to protect their lily @sses.
Elvis did karate on stage, thank ya, thank ya very much.

Kings had royal robes. (see above)
Again, Elvis. -he- had robes. and jumpsuits. and whatever else.

I wonder how that would frickin work... Elvis in full red, white, and blue thunderbird sequin'd and jewelled jumpsuit, jewelled sunglasses and all... next to King Henry the 8th (VIII) in a duel.

ha ha.

awesome.

Just a reminder

"Evil"...

still starts with

"Eve"

Asian Lafitte

Ay-zhahn Lah-feet

Yes. If I was to be a pirate, we once discussed in the lab, my pirate name would be Asian Lafitte...as opposed to Jean Lafitte.

Well, the cool thing about being from Galveston is that it was once the home to pirates. Mainly, Jean Lafitte. Some stories are around that he still has treasure around. All I know is, this is what's left of his house before the US Navy forced him away after a fucked up situation when oneof his lesser captains disobeyed an order fired on an American ship against Jean's orders.

The fucker. Oh well, Jean Lafitte had Captain Brown, and I think some of Brown's men, hung as a warning to those who would disobey him, but that was not enough. So, Jean Lafitte burned his house to the ground and set sail for legend.

Witchcraft Classes Offer a Tax Break

According to The Associated Press and cnn.com,

"Dutch witches were guaranteed a financial treat when the Leeuwarden District Court reaffirmed their legal right to write off the costs of schooling -- including in witchcraft -- against their tax bills. Those costs run to thousands of dollars. The court found on September 23 that a witch can declare schooling costs if it increases the likelihood of employment and personal income... The cost is $206 per weekend, including reading material, lodgings and the tools needed for witchcraft. The full course of 13 weekends runs $2,678 and is open to women and men over 18."

Hmm. In the adjoining classroom on campus, they offer Witchburning 101, Rock-tying and swimming, and Spanish History: Focus on Inquistion.

the new engineering building

School Daze

After going to my Doctor to make sure I was alive, and, well... alive. And ok enough to go back to work. I took a few pics of the old school. It's not much, but it was a home away from home. These used to be my playgrounds. These used to be my college days.
Entrance to school

I worked as computer tech support for about three years while at school. This was the view from inside the Cage. Ah, the memories... behind the Cage was Jenn's office, and we'd hang out or like one time, she made a few of us poledance for her using her hatrack. Also where I got my first kiss. :)

The Library. The was approaching that building. Aside from work, this place was also a meeting place before and after class... before exams, and after...

The granite blocks. A lil ways away, there's a small rose garden. They never upkept it, so I'd trim a rose now and then and give one to my Mom, Starrla, or KC. Sometimes, also Amy. :) Hence, she (Amy) called me Flower Charmer. Eh. :) go fig. I trimmed the roses, mainly the yellow ones... they flourished. The red ones... died out.

On rainy nights, Starr would stay on the library steps and smoke, and I'd sometimes dance in the rain or sprinkles near or on the steps. I'd be stupid and taunt and say "you call this rain???" and lightning would strike in the distance. Starrla would say "Uh... I THINK that was a warning, shot, Bum". I was inclined to agree with her.

Kirkham Hall. Aside from the CLB, this is where we had a good number of our classes. The new engineering building wasn't even around then. Hah. hardcore.

What type of....

Your Seduction Style: Au Natural

You rank up there with your seduction skills, though you might not know it.
That's because you're a natural at seduction. You don't realize your power!
The root of your natural seduction power: your innocence and optimism.

You're the type of person who happily plays around and creates a unique little world.
Little do you know that your personal paradise is so appealing that it sucks people in.
You find joy in everything - so is it any surprise that people find joy in you?

You bring back the inner child in everyone you meet with your sincere and spontaneous ways.
Your childlike (but not childish) behavior also inspires others to care for you.
As a result, those who you befriend and date tend to be incredibly loyal to you.

Ha ha ha ha - YES - Halloween

Your Haloween Costume Should Be

A Pimp
MAN, I could NOT have planned it better. HA HA HA. Sheer luck of answering honestly... and then Wha-POW, bishes.

inner child

Your Inner Child Is Surprised

You see many things through the eyes of a child.
Meaning, you're rarely cynical or jaded.
You cherish all of the details in life.
Easily fascinated, you enjoy experiencing new things.

bday

Your Birthdate: October 22

While sometimes employing unorthodox approaches, you are capable of handling large scale undertakings. You assume great responsibility and work long and hard toward completion. Often, especially in the early part of life, there is rigidity or stubbornness, and a tendency to repress feelings.

Idealistic, you work for the greater good with a good deal of inner strength and charisma. An extremely capable organizer, but likely to paint with broad strokes rather than detail. You are very aware and intuitive. You are subject to a good deal of nervous tension.

on another note

i finally had some ice cream.
Blue Bell chocolate and Vanilla.

And later on, I'll prolly have some budweiser that's had my name on it.

Dale Jr. got 4th today, and I thought he had a good shot at 2nd or 3rd. Good race today.

But yeah. Ice cream. like ... a battery recharge,.. except this time, its name is blue bell.

Lost count reading between the lines

Lost Count - Ebba Forsberg
been walked

out upon
or been the one
walking out
on the ones I love
Like a ghost standing or sitting,
I am beside myself listening to this song silently in my head...
Can't really say it's the appropriate soundtrack, but again, just awhile ago,
I began to reflect upon a common thread of my life
where I have to scratch my head and laugh.
Laugh, really, because I ask myself, who. what. where, when and how. but most often, why.
Lost count. I haven't really. My memory won't allow me.
Not so much because I have requested to forget.
made my life a mess
can't put the blame on no one but myself
lost hope
lost faith
so many times I lost count
I've lost count of the number of times I've liked someone and have been too chicken shit to admit it for fear of the whole... well, maybe if i speak up, whatever little is there will all but disappear, so salvage what i do have. I think it's a selfish approach, but i'm not the first or last. And it's not gender specific, I guess. But the point is, several times, whether or not I've expressed it, when I like a girl, they've almost always...no... they've always liked someone else. What about me? Oh, i'm too nice or I'm such a friend they didn't want to change that.
been stumbling
groping caught
but found a way out of each and every trap
somehow
Jroo put it best when she said:
"The Default Boyfriend (DBF) - Do you have one? He’s the guy to whom you can cry about your real boyfriend, the guy who will act like your man when something heinous attempts to hit on you, the one that will coddle you when you feel girlish, and be your Valentine when no alternate suitor shows up at your doorstep. Typically, to be honest, he’s the nicest guy in the world, but still not someone you’d date, though you’d never voice an actual reason not to, because that reason is probably something superficial and cruel. He’s too short. He has no money. He’s a bit effeminate. I can do better. Really the only ouchless reason to not date a guy is because you or he is gay."
so far my life's been a mess
can't put the blame on no one but myself
lost hope
lost faith
so many times
I lost count
It was funny reading that because you know it, but it actually does exist because someone else validated it. Amy? Her family and friends and son thought I was decent. She went back to her old boyfriend who she swore she hated and whom also her son did not like a bit. Someone else from years back... kept complaining that their SO had issues, had few things in common, and yet we did... but no. apparently wasn't enough,... what got this line of thinking started is that I thought to myself, it's always humbling when you see who got picked over you. Sometimes, I think, what'd they have that I didn't? Is there anything wrong with me? And then times, where I say, well, shit, how could I compete?
I lost count
lost hope
lost faith
so many times I lost count
been walked
out upon
or been the one
walking out
Tonight, I got both worlds. On on hand, I have to say, well...shit. this is why I didn't get picked. But at the same time, after hearing back comments from two others, both of whom...well, especially one who has yet to lie, tell me I'm better and that i'm not a major asshole... it sets me back asking. why. Yeah, i'm losing count. I'm losing some hope. I'm losing some faith. I'm losing count. And yet, I have to reset and tell myself "Fuck It" and move on and learn. How much longer? I don't know.

Harroween Corors (Halloween Colors)

Well.
I found out something new.
Although it'd seem obvious enough...

What's the significance of orange and black for Halloween?

Orange means 'harvest'
Black means 'death'

Huh. Cool.

Ahead, Warp Factor...wait...

Never would've guessed it. Starfleet's don't ask, don't tell policy. I guess I started to wonder when he decided to wear that fucked up weird looking leather jacket on Star Trek IV... but ah well. Sulu's out of the closet. Only time til Chekhov does the same. Sulu took the helm...and Chekhov manned...the guns. Don't laugh. Kirk liked to watch, Spock kept saying fascinating, and Scotty kept saying "I'm givin' her all she can handle, Cap'n!"

Ah...Star Trek Porn.

LOS ANGELES (Associated Press) -- George Takei, who as helmsman Sulu steered the Starship Enterprise through three television seasons and six movies, has come out as a homosexual in the current issue of Frontiers, a biweekly Los Angeles magazine covering the gay and lesbian community.

Takei told The Associated Press on Thursday that his new onstage role as psychologist Martin Dysart in "Equus," helped inspire him to publicly discuss his sexuality.

Takei described the character as a "very contained but turbulently frustrated man." The play opened Wednesday at the David Henry Hwang Theater in Los Angeles, the same day that Frontiers magazine featured a story on Takei's coming out.

The current social and political climate also motivated Takei's disclosure, he said.
"The world has changed from when I was a young teen feeling ashamed for being gay," he said. "The issue of gay marriage is now a political issue. That would have been unthinkable when I was young."

The 68-year-old actor said he and his partner, Brad Altman, have been together for 18 years. Takei, a Japanese-American who lived in a U.S. internment camp from age 4 to 8,said he grew up feeling ashamed of his ethnicity and sexuality. He likened prejudice against gays to racial segregation.

"It's against basic decency and what American values stand for," he said.
Takei joined the "Star Trek" cast in 1966 as Hikaru Sulu, a character he played for three seasons on television and in six subsequent films. He received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in 1986.

A community activist, Takei ran for the Los Angeles City Council in 1973. He serves on the advisory committee of the California Civil Liberties Public Education Program and is chairman of East West Players, the theater company producing "Equus."

Type 10

Bum, your ideal sexual partner is a Type 10.

A Type 10 partner is devoted to giving you the best, and is brave enough to try new things — just to see if they work for the two of you. Just when you thought it couldn't get any more pleasurable, your Type 10 will push it one more step towards ecstasy. And it doesn't end there. This person isn't just out to pull their latest innovations on you. They are in it for you. This person has the courage and ability to experiment in the emotional realm as well as the physical.A Type 10 is driven by the need to express love as much as they are driven to express their physical curiosity. But how do you spot your Type 10 sexual partner before becoming intimate with them? New research has shown that you can determine a person's sexual type simply by observing subtle cues in their everyday behavior.

Traits

Bum, your best quality shines through in how Compassionate you are

The fact that you're a caring and considerate person who is typically very loving, as well really draws people to you! But that's not the only thing. Your answers on the test indicate you're great at expressing myself and can be at my best when articulating my ideas or communicating with others. You are a person with a strong will who is typically determined to follow through on difficult demands and meet important goals, too.In all, there are 15 qualities that help define you when you're at your best. Those are the traits potential employers, friends, and partners look for in you. What makes you unique is your particular distribution of those 15 qualities. We've found that your particular combination of qualities is rare — only 5 in 10,000 people share the same general mix of traits. Those are great odds if you're trying to show a potential employer, colleague, friend, or date why you're exactly the right person for them.

closer

last night, i had a dream, and i saw my dreamgirl again. and this time, i caught a glimpse of her. i used to only hear a voice, then i'd see a silouhette, and then i'd get a better glimpse. this time, for a brief moment, i saw her. and she had this beautiful smile. just lights you up. i can't describe her, but she's beautiful to me.

i mentioned this to Sara and she said maybe it means i'm getting closer to her. who knows. if so, i'm hoping. it'd be weird though, if all this time, and when this unknown person finally becomes all clear, and i actually see her.

that'd be something.

but only time and whomever else knows.

Saturday stuff

Woke up this mornin'
Smiled at the risin' sun
three little birds
sit by my doorstep
singing sweet songs
of memories pure and good
saying don't worry
about a thing
cuz every little thing's
gonna be alright

Today... woke up, took a shower, went to Kinko's to print a picture out. Mainly cuz it was closer and cheaper. So I called them before leaving cuz it was only one pic. Will you need a CD, a compact flash or SD card, or will a USB thumbdrive be ok? "Oh, a USB thumbdrive should be ok to print it out" Will it be photoquality? "Yes"

So... i go there. thumbdrive in hand. Where can I print these out on photoquality?
"Try the Sony photofinish station"
So I go. It doesn't have input for it. I got back and tell them.
"Oh, well, you'll just have to print it on other paper"
But I want it on photoquality.
"you'll have to transfer it to a disk then"
How much?
"Well, you have to pay for time spent on the computer, and also for the disk"
BUT I CALLED AND Y'ALL SAID USB WAS OK
"*cricket cricket*"
OK, gimme a disk, charge my time. (jesus H....)

Anyways, the 3.5 disk didn't work, a dfferent person, a cooler person, xferred it to a CD, got it to work, and didn't charge me for the disk, or CD. The picture came out great and Ma was happy.

After Kinko's went by the comic store to check out stuff cuz for the last so many years, i kept missing out on their Fall/Halloween sale. That and I also had to pick up an item i'd ordered. So, I went. And saw a couple of neat things, got the Kaylee issue from Serenity (2 of 3) , and also a Batman fig. While checking out, I wanted to check on a DVD i saw there last time... Tenjho Tenge Vol. 2. Well, one of the guys said that instead of a 25% off sale, it became 50%. And they also had VOl. 3. so, comparing prices with cheap eBay, and how other stores had them (Best Buy, Fry's, Suncoast...)... 2 for the price of one... I'm there. So I got Vol 2 and 3. Yay!

After that...went to the mall, ate lunch with the 'rents... headed over to the halloween costume place and picked up an item... for Monday, and ran into Lauren and Wilson. Ha ha....way fun trying on costumes.

After that, went to church, and they were short of a server, so I dressed up and helped out.

Afterwards, headed home and baked a hundred or so cookies for my cousins and relatives. Domestic, I know... but, after that, ate dinner, and just vegged,...that and drink lemonade.

That's the Saturday.

hide and seek

every now and then,
either i try to track someone down,
or someone tracks me down
and if it's someone thattracks me down and finds me
that usually gets me tracking again.

so... i was tracked and now i track.

An old friend from HS found me on myspace, and so there i was, like... *blink blink* tagged, and i'm it... so i was like... ok. lemme look for some people. in the process, found some folks from high school and college, and it's all fun. One remembers me for sure, so I've added her. :)

people finding is cool. most of the time. :)

Like, so... now I just... there was this girl in HS...Amy Higgins. Had a crush on her. Last I knew she went to San Francisco, but that was 11 years ago. No idea where she went since, but ah well. I also miss Libbie, but I've been in touch with her recently... though getting curious again what she's up to.

Congratulations, Bum! Your IQ score is 135

This number is based on a scientific formula that compares how many questions you answered correctly on the Classic IQ Test relative to others. Your Intellectual Type is Visionary Philosopher. This means you are highly intelligent and have a powerful mix of skills and insight that can be applied in a variety of different ways. Like Plato, your exceptional math and verbal skills make you very adept at explaining things to others — and at anticipating and predicting patterns. And that's just some of what we know about you from your IQ results.

Ok, so according to the quiz, i have a 135. eh.
According to here, that means, i'm between:

Apparently, the IQ gives a good indication of the occupational group that a person will end up in, though not of course the specific occupation. In their book, Know Your Child’s IQ, Glen Wilson and Diana Grylls outline occupations typical of various IQ levels:

140 - Top Civil Servants; Professors and Research Scientists.
130 - Physicians and Surgeons; Lawyers; Engineers (Civil and Mechanical)

Go figure. I'm right where they say I should be.

Celebrity Soulmate

Bum, your celebrity soul mate is someone who's Funny

There's always funny stuff going on in the script when you're on the set. Whether you're pranking your crew, telling a funny joke, or injecting an element of the absurd into a situation, you've got a way with making people laugh. It's only fitting that your celeb soul mate is someone who's silly and quirky, too!

A celeb who's good looking and good at enjoying life like Cameron Diaz is just right for the role. No matter if you're playing mini golf or shopping at the mall, you've both got the comic talents to have loads of hilarious hijinks wherever you go. And if your celeb soul mate is on location in some foreign country, someone who's funny and closer to home would be perfect for the job. And that's no joke!

I'm in love

yes. i. am.

that is all.

thank you.

Motivation.
My ass loves to eat. Or rather, I love to eat and though some coworkers say they hate me for never gaining, i wear loose clothing, bishes. I mean..Jim. ha ha. No, really. and besides, I need to get a lil bit healthier.

Like... cutting back on coke. again. not by much, damnit! tiny steps here. I need my caffeine. And um... exercise. I haven't actively done so since last year, and that was when Pink Tiger, Big Ern, Pepe and I would go out jogging. I miss those times.

So, since that motivation is not there, i now have.... [dramatic music here] new motivation. I can treadmill AND watch episodes of Danger Mouse and lose track of time.

How cool is that?
Not much to the non-average geek, but it's Dangermouse, damnit. Now, if they'd ONLY bring back Voltron on DVD... and not the cheap crap selling on eBay. We're talking good quality DVDs with decent subtitles in non-broken english. Nothing worse than broken-engrish subtitles.

It's like.. what did that say???

Anyways... yes. Danger Mouse. on DVD.
when my sick and sore self gets better, it will be ON!

yis.

lest i forget halloween

The wonderful thing about taking meds is that it sometimes screws with your head. Ha ha, ok, so that side effect isn't always fun, but in this case, it made for a weird dream.

Me, Hailey, Jake, Jessica, Wilson, Mike, Jose, and a few others... basically, plain and simple, those who were here last Saturday night. We were there around the island, and next thing I know, we're walking along what looked like one of the alleys along the French Quarter,... but it wasn't New Orleans, but elsewhere...which was weird. We walk into one of the places that looked like Colonel Bubbies. It had a lot of militaria, and we were out looking for costumes for Halloween. But then again, instead of finding regular militaria, we were fixated by what they had for uniform/costumes at the front of the store...

They had Star Wars costumes as uniforms. It was like... Colonel Bubbies... from Star Wars. We picked up some stuff such as stormtrooper outfits, Boba Fett Mandalorian armor... but the funny part, and this shows you my demented dream personality...

I looked a little farther after handing Jake a desert version of Boba Fett's helmet, and I reach back for a box, and it was marked "Lando". So I pull the box out, and see it had both Lando's costume from Return of the Jedi when he was in Jabba's Lair... but it also had his cape from Empire Strikes Back... and the latter part of Return of the Jedi.

Needless to say, I got this cape out, and next thing I knew, I was a Star Wars pimp while everyone else looked... militaristic. Lando's Cape, some kick ass pimp shows, feathered hat...
and a lightsaber cane. Double-bladed. lower portion would extend down to make the cane, upper portion was a functional lightsaber... but if needed, the cane part would fall off and also become a lightsaber.

It was awesome.
And then I woke up. and went back to sleep.

What I like

I like lamp. No, ok, I was ju saying that to say that.

Um... i like....
Sports. I like the 'Stros and Biggio, I like the Aeros, I like baseball, softball, basketball, football, hockey, shooting pool, etc.

Music...
I've got an eclectic taste... I can go Gregorian Chant to Tupac, George Strait to Aerosmith, Vienna Teng to....mmMMmm....Vienna Teng. I also like Linkin Park and the Black Eyed Peas.

Fun people.
Dynamic people. The either we know what we want in life, Damnit, people, or the ha ha, we're having fun people.

Movies
I own a lot of movies, so I can't really just pick -1-. But there are some good endearing movies, from Napoleon Dynamite to Garden State, Breakfast at Tiffany's to Finding Nemo.

Dale Jr
That's right, bishes, I like Number 8, win or lose.

Profiler

So, I just updated my profile on myspace.
ha ha. yeah. I'm out sick, damnit, and I was going stir crazy for a bit and decided to do something other than combat the tyranny that is... crap, is this the flu or something? I dunno. Whatever says "Thou shalt have achy bones, slight headache, and a shiver in your timbers, and not in the good way".

So... the profile:

About me:
Well, i'm limited edition, one of one. Ha ha, no, not conceited, just stating the obvious. But seriously... I've got a fairly laid back tone, but can kick it up a notch, add some spice like Emeril, and BAM! one more time BAM! read that again and say BAM! with me. BAM!.

Caffeine is a nice thing, but i'm usually energetic without it. I love my friends and family, and they love me and that's what matters. I was raised a God-fearin', gentleman-like southern boy, complete with a bit of a Texan accent... all in an asian's body. Texasian with representation. ha ha.

I'm less than 365 days away from hitting the Dark side called 30-something... but hey, it was a fun 29th party. As a birthay gift, the 'Stros went to the 1st Texan team in the World Series. That's right. Not the Yankees or some other "we expect to be there" team. The Astros. Win or lose, they're my team. Same with the Aeros. Can't say the same about the Texans.

I'm working as a "social" engineer at the JSC, but also have future goals. What can I say? Whan I was asked what I wanted to be when I finally grew up, my answer was to be a sugar daddy. We'll see.

At a point in my life where having a someone special is a wonderful thing, but worth waiting for. It's not all about having big boobies cuz they'll not always be there. But from what I've seen, personality, sense of humor, and that certain smile last forever. Had a friend from 1st grade. Hadn't seen her in so many years, but I recognized her smile just like that.

Best things in life are what make up our memories.

Who I'd like to meet:
Someone with an "LA face with an Oakland booty"
Ha ha, just kidding. I'd like to meet the friends I haven't met yet. They're there, but just have to meet them.

My complementary half. I used to subscribe to the "I'm looking for someone to complete me", but no... only you can complete yourself. But a complementary half is one who will make you want to be the best at everything, and someone you would devote your time to. Where you already say "Good morning, day", but add an extra 'turn to your side and say "I love you"'. Someone you just click with and have that undescribable chemistry that only the two of you can fully undrstand.

And when it's all said and done, hopefully i haven't done enough stupid sh!t that I can go to Heaven and see God and all my long gone friends and relatives.

perplexing

"you know, i find you different than other filipinos here.. fascinating even... kasi parang ang upbringing mo is mas conservative ka pa kesa sa filipinos that i grew up with. i don't know... it's a little perplexing.... but then when i saw your picture (the one with the signage flirt), i was like...hmmm...???? ha ha. nah, i think you're just playful. "

So my new friend Mel sent me a message and said the above. Ha ha, i'm apt to agree. She's pretty cool.

Serenity

Serenity
-The state or quality of being serene.

noun
1: a disposition free from stress or emotion

2: the absence of mental stress or anxiety

every now and then, i do stand beside my own reflection.
Sometimes, it's due to an occasion, and other times, just because i felt like it.
There could be so much to reflect over, but usually these reflections tend to go deeper than I'd like, and I come out wanting more time to seclude myself from myself.

balance.
i'm slowly making my way back to a balanced side again. it had been awhile, but it's always nice to know that some weights have been lifted and i'm on my way back to being ok again. the book is really helping out. it's not a cure, and can't really call it a guide, but it's a nice perspective on things, And it's through this perspective where I say to myself... Uh huh... knew it all along, but finally listening to the voices of conscience.
Two know. Two understand.

But anyways,
Today was a pretty nice monday. Actually got some things done today at work, and it was an overal fun and not so stressed day. very rare, especially for a Monday. got a note from a new friend today and responded to it as well. It's pretty neat cuz the two of us could relate, almost. She grew up a world away, and yet we have a good deal in common. And at the same time, a random person sent me a message, so I responded back to her as well. Rare, but nice. and cute.

There's a cute girl at work and not too far away. A sure sign I'm back to normal. It's like pulling 'Vince' where there's more than one. No, not a player, but still. Had a brief chat with Cath today. Seems like I figured she'd be headed in the direction she's starting to re-direct too. Was only a matter of time, I guess, but I just hope she's happy. Starrla had also emailed me today and wished me a happy birthday. :) always fun hearing from her. Call it sentimental, or whatever the right word should be, it ... ya know, I've actually known her for 11 yrs now. Way cool. Then again, anyone I met or was friends with since 1985... I've known them for 20 yrs.

Played Sniper Elite again tonight and actually finished two missions. Starting to get the hang of it, but some areas, I still have a hard time. Tomorrow has some decent dvd releases coming its way... dunno what to do for lunch, but i'm guessin' should be fun.

i guess the following can apply no matter which situation you may wish to consider it for. But it applies all the same. Keep your focus on what counts. You can have whatever else going on which can distract, even shake your game... but keep focus on what counts. In the long run, that focus is what will win everything over, and you will get the last laugh. Who cares about the other players. I was reminded of this today. So true.

2:30. time for me to call it a day. Still awake, but i'd rather be warm in bed then still being awake typing. There's a game tomorrow. I am sure hoping that the 'Stros win. Tough luck on the first two... if only we'd split. Now... it's just one game at a time, one inning at a time, one pitch at a time. go 'Stros.

ok, ninight

ok.... night.

this space on hold

there were a few more pics, and one of them had Hailz.
Hailz will prolly kill me (though she will deny this by the time i come in tomorrow)...er...today... but if i posted her on here...without express not necessarily written consent... she'll kick my ass 20 times to tuesday. minimum.

hee hee. so. if she approves, i'll be sure to change this.

happy birthday, Mike!

October usually starts off with Mike's birthday. Well, at least in the office. Last year,...was well,... last year. New year, new scheme. This year... aluminum foil, silly string, and balloons. Ha ha... 20 days later, it's been cleaned up, but there's still some remnants. We love our friends, who just happen to be our coworkers.
