prelude to a hump day
oy vey.
so i was dozing off from watching a movie...and just woke up.
prolly gonna end up watching the movie tomorrow night. for those even wondering, it's Bedazzled with Liz Hurley and Brendan Frasier. One of my fave movies.
But, I'm tired, sleepy, and...so i'm prolly gonna slink into bed in a few after the ritualistic offering to the toothbrush gods.
work? yes. work. had my performance eval today, and then also had the remaining three folks in the group in for theirs. not too shabby, i think it went well. workwise, pretty much got my checklist for things to do today done. or delegated. and done. fun fun.
lunch was at oriental gourmet today, aka chicken on a stick, aka the trough.
our group is pretty fertile. yet another coworker is pregnant. it's usually a coworker or a significant other of a coworker. must be the water. ha ha ha. hmm. go figure.
BumPod once again kept me company. i swear, since 1/30/06, BumPod's been a faithful companion. Work Erin is a sweetheart. She's letting me listen to the Rent soundtrack, so I put that, along with Bob Marley/Legend, Eric Clapton/Unplugged, and Nelly/Country Grammer into BumPod.
As it is, there're now approx. 835 songs, 3 or so GB. and yet, I still have not added an 2Pac. Or Reggaeton. or any others i normaly had in the CD player. But no worries. Prolly tomorrow, i won't be lazy and put whatever CDs are in the truck into BumPod. Long story short, she made my day. Along with a few other events today. well, ok. just the evals part. everything else was just a workday. ha ha.
Class was slow tonight. considering i've been sleeping a lil bit earlier this week, i'm sleepier. class just didn't want to hurry up. argh. well, finally got out of class and headed home, ate dinner and just chilled. well, no... i checked work email, replied to some, then ate dinner. then chatted with Cindy for a few, and then started to watch Bedazzled. We did chat about how the day went and the usual match.com. as of right now, 21 views, 1 wink. which again, doesn't really count. so, 0 for 20.
that pretty much covers today. usual mayhem, but a touch of subdued.
granted it's hump day now, i'm sure that will all change...but to make it happen, i'm gonna go head on to sleep.
