hard days night

i came in a lil late today, but more than made up for it. I stayed at work til about 9:30PM and did an impromptu status meeting over the phone with one of the coworkers. But, for the most part, it was a productive day. so much so, i ate lunch at around 3pm, but it was cool...brought it back to work and got some work done in between bites.

sometimes advice is taken, sometimes, it falls on deaf ears. unfortunately, to some, the process is the enemy and all that gets relayed is wonder how anything gets done with all the things necessary to get things done. I don't know. I've been tainted by the system, knowing workarounds and what-not if ever they're required. but, long story short, i've learned to roll with the punches, and not let it get to me as bad. maybe one of these months, this approach will rub off and be catchy.

not much else to fully report as far as work goes. it was the same old thing.
that, and it's near 1am, and i actually want to go to sleep. go figure, right?

it's been several days, and i didn't look for a mint for breakfast. how rare. i sincerely hope this lasts.

Cindy and i were chatting earlier, and i checked out match.com again and have winked at a good deal, been viewed 20 times, and winked-at once (which did not really count), so ah well. ha ha ha. good times, good times.

it's been a hard days night, and i should be sleeping like a log.
