intimidated
there's a really cute girl in class.
i'd go as far as to say she's beautiful.
no, not like Caitlin beautiful, or Erin (from Ohio) beautiful, but yeah.
anyways, in the second class meeting weeks ago, she and another classmate commented that i actually spoke with grace during art appreciation. i dunno. i doubt i did.
last week, she didn't really talk with any of the other classmates, but she did say hey to me. we chatted and looked at some of the Basquiat as we were required by the instructor. She actually picked out the one i did a 'report' on for tonight's class. Well, she pointed the piece out, and i liked it and its symbolism, so...yeah.
tonight, we sat in the classroom before class begin, and she walks in, sits beside me and so we say hi. she looks really nice tonight, and her hair just hung over the side of her face real pretty like. hair color and smile were all in place too. so, i say hi, and vice versa, and she says she'd been telling others how cool i was, how 'eloquent' (her exact word) i spoke, and how i could be intimidating. basically, besides being a classmate in this class, she is a total stranger to me. we did some drawings in class today, drawing vending machines, watches, whatever inanimate object-else, and she looks over what i did and says something along the lines of, "are you just really good at anything you do?" so i replied, "one more and you're going to make me blush." she smiles and says, "your glasses. they look really nice" and i said, "they're back-ups, and they have a crack in them" and she follows up with, "and i like your shirt". i had nothin, so i said, "ok, you just made me blush".
i've never been told i intimidated anyone before. not that i can recall, anyways. Hey, you might say, this is all cool. A girl notices I am alive and I guess what she's saying are compliments. ha ha, the chic is taken.
We discussed surreal art. Art imitates life and life imitates art. Right now, i'm feeling surreal. again, how do you document real life when real life's getting more like fiction every day. :)
I guess it's cool a cute girl knows i'm alive and stuff. Even Jessica said that too on our way back from lunch today. but for me to intimidate and whatever else the classmate said... i become even more self-conscious and wonder... :/
