one more for the road

few of us went to willy shoo's and hung out. watched them play a few rounds of Star Wars Battlefront II before joining in. it's similar to the PSP version, but it's so much different on a regular XBOX. as expected. played that for a couple of hours, and beer didn't seem to affect that. basically, after willy shoo called it a night, three of us still kept playing til we got to a point where it was, eh... ok, can call it quits soon. but i mentioned the pirate game. so, we tried one round,..three ships against each other. quick learning curve, after the 1st/2nd game, the reaction was .... THIS IS IT? THAT'S ALL THERE IS TO THIS GAME?

well... yeah. it's not the 1-player version where ya can sword fight as well. This was strictly pirate ships. an hour later... and several rematches, as well... we called it a night. but for such a simple game, it was really entertaining. not running aground was as much a challenge as remembering left from right when trying to fire the cannons.
