Dear Abby
in my wallet, i've had this newspaper clipping since 1994.
It's faded by now, but it still finds its home in my wallet.
It was in Dear Abby's column on St. Patrick's Day, 1994...
Take time to work,
It is the price of success.
Take time to think,
It is the source of power.
Take time to play,
It is the secret of perpetual youth.
Take time to read,
It is the foundation of wisdom.
Take time to be friendly,
It is the road to happiness.
Take time to love and be loved,
It is the privilege of the gods.
Take time to share,
Life is too short to be selfish.
Take time to laugh,
Laughter is the music of the soul.
i've held onto it this long, it will probably be buried with me if I can help it. I'm weird this way... holding onto such things... but it's these that just make me smile sometimes, when it's quiet. I like it.
