why do i blog 022106

so yeah... like, i finally broke down and told Erin that I had a blog. Well, no, it's not like a hidden secret or anything, and now that she knows of it, she's gonna read this entry too...maybe...if she even ventures on over here... ha ha. that in its own way seems a lil awkward, and yet...not. but anyway, during work, we (Smiley, Hailz, Pink Tiger, Cindy, etc) would talk about the b-log, and it'd be like... some inside thing, which, to some degree, it is. and i reckon i'd get hushed about it when she looked quizzically. (say quizzically three times real fast...did you even get it out right two times? ha ha)

ok, so...why do we blog? i don't know. some blog in private. some blog in semi-private. some blog their privates. oh..wait.... i mean... ha ha, but yes, i blog because of boredom. i blog because someday, my memory will start failing, and it would be nice to have some help remembering what i saw, what i did, what i thought not to far off from when it occurred. maybe there are some people who get the same things i do. maybe not the same way, but with enough congruence to snicker or smirk at something odd and random.

other times, i vent. i vent because i learned long ago you can't always hold it in, and if you did try to hold it in, well.... try not going to the bathroom. yeah. same thing. i vent cuz i can get the exact words i want out....out. no censoring for the most part. then a year later, i re-read my vent and i laugh. i laugh and say WTF.

that's why i blog. to just... share what small gift of insanity i have. to show what my eyes see. to boldly go where Sheneneh said, "i know you didn't!" *LAUGH* ha, kidding....sorta.

and that's why i blog. any other bloggers out there, why do YOU blog?
