That Guy.
We talked about this during lunch today, and it seems to be a universal theme. Well, not so universal, but it's one where you're never really alone. That Guy. That Girl. it's not gender specific. It was almost like an episode of, as the coworker reminded me the name of it...The View, except different perspective.

I posted about The Friendship Zone last night just because I was bored and was on imdb, among other reasons. But today, I was informed of who/what exactly 'That Guy" is. I thought, maybe they meant, a player or something. Well... apparently not quite. Better to go to the plate, swing and miss, than to not... and at least not swing for the other team. Yeah, there seems to be a lot of baseball goin' around lately, and it's either swinging and missing, getting rained out, for player's error.

Trying to see if you can get a single, or keep getting foul balls. anyways, before this totally becomes a baseball discussion, after listening to the definition of That Guy, it reinforces that we just have these roles to play, whether we like them or not. And as the discussion went, not liking is more often than not.

but it's also the game we choose to play as well. (fuck it, i'm waiting for tomorrow's 'Stros/Cards game. fuck off and leave me to my baseball references here...even though we DID use game references earlier). long story short, some guys are players, some guys are friends. and seem to always just be made for that kind of material. and where i say guys, it can serve the same if you change it to girls. y'all are out there too.
