what did i did?
so...i slept in a lil bit later, even though I still woke up and got up for a bit around 6:30am... took a shower, said hey to Ash, and then to Cin, and then Sara Smiles... well...no... wait....chatted with them, THEN took a shower...then got ready to head out, had it ALL planned out...go to get lunch, errands at the mall, then watch a movie with Cin.
but, took a detour, decided to get an oil change for the truck... and maybe change out the rear light. i figure, the light should be easy to change out unless it's where they have to remove the panel. yeah, next time, i'm gonna do that shit myself. easier and cheaper and i'd know what i was doing. as for the oil change... yeah...well, the 30 min deal was longer. did i say i wanted to get lunch?
fuck that notion. :) got in at 2:05pm... shoulda been out no later than 3pm with the light changeout and waiting in line. no. i got out at 4. which meant, screw lunch, have to run the errands, and still make it to the theater before the movie started at 4:45pm.
ah well. got the thing Ma wanted me to get for her, and also made my way to Sam Goody cuz Suncoast was out of Firefly. Used some certificates so I got the dvd set basically half the price. and then....rushed on over to the theater, caught up with Cin and saw Serenity.
Kinda cool cuz we watched several episodes of the tv show from Rrrrr's friend's place... and now, the movie. The movie itself was pretty cool. The whole country-western meets space is a different approach, but still cool. If I could find a chic as sensual as Inara, as strong-willed as Zoe, as ass-kicking as River, and as girl-next-door as Kaylee, I think I'd be all set.
Ha. that'd be somethin... anyway, got home, and ate breakfast/lunch/dinner (though popcorn and coke was a good placeholder)
the rest of the night was fairly uneventful...well, yeah...
Player has to buy kolaches tomorrow cuz he had the least winning football picks for week 5. and um... i'm recovering. yeah, this weekend was good. road to recovery is always good.
