we celebrate a day when an italian sponsored by spaniards didn't ask for directions, sailed the wrong way, and called the idigenous people he met, 'Indians' cuz he thought he was in India.

what could these people been thinking, in retrospect, if we somehow had the chance to show them the future?

"Dumbass, we're not indians, you made the wrong turn."
"God my ass, you want us for the women and the gold!"
"how about you get back in your nice lil boat, before we cap yo ass with these spears, muth'fukka!"
"West-Siiiiiiiide!"

hmm.
scary thought.
makes you wonder...what if Columbus actually arrived in the real India... then what? Some way, somehow, someone else would have done what he did... whether it would have been another italian sponsored by Spain, or later in the future, by the British or something... of if it had been done earlier by the Romans or Greeks. How rare.

anyways, it was an off day so i spent it wisely and slept in a lil bit longer.
