Soulmates...kindred spirits. I know exactly what it means. I wrote the following in my blog back in November about a good friend of mine.
He and I...well...I always felt like we were kindred spirits. I know the whole 'kindred spirit' thing sounds like a lot of hooey, but I think people can have kindred spirits. It doesn't mean they have to be lovers...it just means that their spirits...souls...whatever you want to call it, recognizes each other....they speak to each other in a kind of "read-between-the-lines" way that never has to be put into words. As I re-read this, that sounds so completely stupid but it makes perfect sense to me.
No, it made sense, and I agree. :)
I don't agree with that definition. Hmm... I'll elaborate more.
