Jew to Certain Circumstances... The Dinner
Ya know, to date, I think I've liked/had a crush on a good number of Jewish girls, including Natalie Portman. Hmm....
After the reception, we were getting hungry, so the happy trio went off to Rice Village. I'm like, "Mi Luna's is around here closeby...actually...there it is. They serve tapas there". Well, Pink Tiger and Big Ern were game for tapas as well, so, off we went for parking, then mosied on over to Mi Luna. Their special for that night was seven different types for 45 dollars. Not too bad. We ended up getting some beef tenderloin, spicy chicken, calamari, escargot and mushrooms, cheese, and crab cakes. They were all pretty good. Live music was playing as well. Next time, I'd like to try their paella and see how it tastes. Big Ern even tried one of the escargot. :) I don't think Pink Tiger was into it at all, but they made a good call on the calamari and crab cakes.
I am a photo slut. I have never really asked a girl for her number, but i don't always have hesitation to ask for a picture with her. Maybe cuz I think it's more harmless that way. Anyway, our waitress was pretty cute, so... I had my camera, and viola. Pink Tiger was kind enough to take a picture. By this time, our other company had joined us, so we just talked there and whatever til we figured it's time to walk.
We went to bar down the street... i'm trying to remember what the name of the place was... but apparently, the band playing there seems to always play whereever Big Ern and Pink Tiger go. The lead singing chic has a deeper than usual voice and can sound like a guy. On that note, the guy singer has a higher pitched voice at times and can sound like a girl. They played some good old songs like Sweet Home Alabama, and some Vilent Femmes... The two wanted me to get close and guest sing if and when they did Billie Jean. I'm like...no.
Sure enough, they DID sing Billie Jean... and the dance party started. Hee hee.
So yeah, we danced to that, some Prince...some old slow song, and... can't remember what else. Got on stage and got a picture with Shea, the lead singer chic.
Needless to say, it was another fun night with Big Ern and Pink Tiger. But then again,... that's a given.
