Deer Crossing at Work
At work, the deer love to come out and play.
In fact, in front of our building, it's their fuckin' bathroom.
But it's cool. They're deer. I remember last year, I played peek-a-boo with one from the parking lot. I'd hide under the truck window, it'd duck down. I'd stick my head out the window, it'd raise its head up. Etc etc. Anyway, the deer at work are cool.
"Each animal, by instinct, lives according to his nature. Thereby he lives wisely, and betters the tradition of mankind. No animal is ever tempted to belie his nature. No anumal, in other words, knows how to tell a lie. Every animal is honest. Every animal is straightforward. Every animal is true - and is, therefore, according to his nature, both beautiful and good."
-Kenneth Grahame, author, The Wind in the Willows
