blue

my fish died friday morning.
i was all set to go to work, and i normally say good morning to fish.

Blue had been sick for awhile...
but Thursday night...and laugh or think it weird, but i felt like Thursday night, he said goodbye to me. he normally swims away when i get a lil close, and then he peers and swims again.

last night, he actually swam close to me and just looked and it felt like he was saying goodbye. Friday morning, Blue was gone. Mom knew but didn't tell me, and let me find out myself.

so, i called her and said, Blue's gone, and she said, yeah, she knew.
but it's ok... Betta's are supposed to live 2-3 yrs, and Blue certainly lived 3+ yrs.


so now, we have 'Red'
new baby fish

way cute, way smart
so... i can still see where we buried Blue from my window, but every morning, i can now say hi to Red.
