When Come Back, Bring Thai
Thai Hostage...I mean Thai Cottage.
I finally went. It wasn't too bad, even though I opted for the fried rice instead of actual Thai cuisine. Don't get me wrong, I might have been braver under other circumstances, but I'm also still a lil bit sick. Spicy might not be good.
Not as cold as it is elsewhere, but it was roughly 53 degrees all day. Waited for what seemed to be 15 or 25 mins just to be seated. I was so tempted to just hike it across a busy street to Philly Connection and get a nice hot mushroom cheesesteak.
After a two-day not-so-break break, went back to work. I'd missed a Department meeting on Wednesday, which, if no one is keeping track, seems to be the second Fall Dept. meeting I missed cuz I was sick. How rare. Unplanned and all, too. Apparently, I got a certificate, so...that was a nice surprise. Even got a coffee thermos thingie, but it'll prolly go to my Ma cuz I don't drink hot coffee regularly. Mocha Frapuccinos... now those are different.
Still on my meds... next one is due in... 2 hrs. Ugh. I was coasting pretty well all day, but when I got home, I started to just want to go to sleep again. But, ate dinner, and now I want to just call it a night before it even hits 11pm.
I'd been wanting to get my hair cut short again, but instead just got a trim. But if the Romancer goes blonde, I'll probably ditch the highlights and go back to being natural. Or blue haired. Hmm... That would be different.
Anyways, wedding anniversary tomorrow. 40th anniv of one of our family friends. Gotta go, even if I might want to just sleep in.
Other than that... pretty much a quiet day. Except for when I put on my knit hat, shades, and put my bandana on like a lil thug. Pepe wore a t-shirt that said POLICE on it. It was funny and the two of us started to laugh cuz it freaked Patsy out a bit.
Ok. nuff for now. Night.

You're an asian yet you haven't tried Thai food? Is that right? I'm disappointed in you. Come to Cali. I'll take you to the Chinese New year, (January) Hmong New year (December) and we an grub in on all oriental food! Tell me you do like spicy. Every asian has to have Rice and Peppers with every meal. Every meal.
Ok Ced. Yeah, I'm Asian. Texasian to be exact. Rice is a staple... Which is why I say 'Fuck Atkins'. :)
Not necessarily a subscriber to pepper with every meal, but it's different with the asian regions, I guess. We deal more with the garlic, onions, and lemon flavor down south.
Here's the fundamental difference.
You're a girl. He's a guy. You win.
You would probably say "Let's go. Can't make it? Maybe next time."
He says "Let's go. Come on. Hello? 10 minutes." along with some other comments now and then that poor Ern and Pink Tiger have experienced that I've managed to avoid. And this goes on a lot.
You'd still win.
That, and you're a girl asking. Heh. I used to hang out with a That brother and sister. Pretty cool folks.
Thai is GREAT for clearing your head when you've got a cold! Mmm - Thai. Generally I'm all about fried chicken, but I can do Thai. Mmm Thai.
Dee, yer awesome.
Ok, so I agree Thai or spicy would be good to clear a headcold...
But you said mmm Thai, and all i could think is mmm Pie. :)
mmMMMM Pecan pie! Pie gooOoood. Actually, Pepe would definitely *heart* you for some pecan pie. He picked that type while Pink Tiger and Big Ern brought Pumpkin, Apple, and Cherry.
