10/27 - Rome

We started the day at 5am, getting ready so that we would make the 7am excursion to Rome. Here, I took a quick picture of the Colosseum as we passed it prior to giving it a visit. Rome is so full of history. The last time I visited the Colosseum, I had just graduated from High School... and the night before had started to get sick. To help me out, I started drinking water and sprite. Well, it added up cuz I had to pee really bad. After the tour guide gave his schpeel, I ran a good distance to the restroom only to be charged some lira just to go in. So...had to run back to my parents, get some change, then run back frantically to the restroom / hole in the ground. Ten years later, it seems to have improved as you didn't have to pay for the restroom, and didn't have to go too far.
