Oddly enough....Juan still asks Victor periodically if he's sure i'm not Mexican. Juan somehow convinced himself that I was. Go figure. :)
meetings...nothing more than meetings...starting at 9 0'clock...on a friday morn... well, after that, returned back to my desk...well, drove back, and then sat back... reviewed some paperwork, checked email, then.. lunchtime at Chicken on a stick.
after work...eh, it's Tee-hif... but still. reviewed more emails and documents. finished drafting stuff. reviewed a drawing. had another meeting. had another question and answer deal. but the coolest thng is i got back from a friend my autographed picture of the STS-114 crew. way way cool. and also got one for BabyG. ah, more plot. more scheme.
work work work. review review review. somehow, work is NOW review. chatted with CinCity every now and then....not so much today since it was a busy day for both of us... but, it was cool cuz we got to hang out watching the U. Houston / UTEP game tonight.
after work, went to Best Buy, got a cool cd (Crazy Frog presents Crazy Hits) and also Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy. Way cool. and the cd... *nodnodnod* Dear KC intoduced the song to me, and it was just.....sitting there...at Best Buy....calling out to me... and. i. answered.
ah, dance music. can't complain. if NASCAR 06 allows custom music (i have to check), i know just the song. muhahahahaha! After Best Buy, hung out at Electronics Boutique for a bit, played a lil Burnout. ah...sports cars... Jim said i drive like i had a deathwish. i seriously doubt that... i've got a lil bit of reason to live, i guess. if nothing else, i can be someone's entertainment purposes only. right? so, after playing for about 10 mins, mosied on over to BW3s and hung out with some UEP fans and CinCity. enjoyed company. ah...chicken, potatoes, celery, and coke with cherries.
add a lil lil bit of Shiner, and then chocolate suicide... yum. the game itself was long...but a very close one. lotsa Houston fans versus the small contingent of UTEP. fun all the same. :)
for the most part, that's the fun and exciting life for today. tomorrow, just working around the house before going to senor Dolamite's gathering.
caffeine is finally wearing out...and sleep is starting to sound really good. toothbrushed and all.... sleep is around the corner. just doing some reflection thinkin about some stuff tonight. hmm. yeah. mind's workin a lil overtime here... and all i can hear in my head is Avril's Complicated in acoustic.
oh, and if it's any consolation for those who care. i'm switching back to being good again.
just had a lapse,....mainly cuz i've just....had issues, whether it's work, school, or just life in general... and haven't really had a chance to vent and unfortunately, i used that as a sort of.... nullifying way... but i'm gonna reset the countdown.
let's see if we can get 'er done better this time.
hmm. so yeah... allison krauss and avril lavigne... time to go sleep, perchance deam.
