today was an ok day.
work was work, but for the most part, the crap from thursday had past, and friday was a new day. towards lunchtime, i started getting a little under the weather, but aside from sleep deprivation that usually catches up, i've been stressing myself over stupid stuff, either from work or personal life... that and our building is frickin cold, moreso in some rooms than others.
lunch was cool, we all ate at Johnny Tamale... and for once, did NOT have the beef fajitas. heh,... change is good. got back to work... it was an ok rest of the afternoon. did a few things, made a few decisions, signed and reviewed some paperwork... but yeah, it was still so frickin cold, hails and I took some paperwork outside and sat on the ramp. ah...thank goodness for direct sunlight.

but...it was then getting a lil bit hot under the suun. (it's ok Sun, still feel ya!). so we went back inside. around this time, a few had decided to start up the kolache football picks again. been a year since we did this, so... basically...loser is the one who picks the least number of winning teams for the week...and has to buy everyone kolaches on tuesday. i'm the unbiased scorekeeper for everyone (except today cuz i delegated to Hails...yes, i'm getting used to delegating). so...come Monday...maybe we'll have a clear loser...or maybe it will be a toss-up...who knows?
me? i'm the sole person who picked New Orleans and Houston to win this week. Tsk. we'll see. Now, most of them pick based on the quality of the team and their team members. Others, they vote based on whether or not the NFL team drafted any of those from their college. Another... we have no idea how he picks. Another... well, isn't playing this season, but he usually picks based on the mascots. How?
For example... a Arizona Cardinal....versus... a Philadelphia Eagle. bird...vs bird of prey.
an Eagle would win, so he would pick Philadelphia. Or... SF 49er... versus... MN Viking...
hmm...between goldseeker and a mofo with battle armor...i'd pick the battlearmor...so MN.
Me? except for this week, what i'd prolly do is enter the matchup on XBOX and see who wins there, and then base my picks that way. :) heh.
sorta levelled off as far as feelin crappy, but still there. after work, visited toys r us, and then went to the mall to get stuff for the house. after that, bought a few items from Hot Topic, Sam Goody, and EB Games. also picked up dinner for us and went home.
Ate dinner and chatted with CinCity. still feelin a lil around 80% goodness. but why happy?

now Hails just became my newest pimpstress. let's see how she does.
