Cinco de Mayo
Ah, cinco de mayo...
a holiday for the border...
today, it was a fairly nice and relaxed atmosphere of a Thursday.
went to a meeting that went fairly well.
had a nice group lunch that lasted a bit, but was nice
shared lunch with this cute woman
that
my
friends/coworkers
like to mess with me
about.
eh. she's cool though.
after that, yet another meeting
and then another.
how do things get done around meetings?
no. idea. how.
so after work, got home, changed a lil,
did some errands, then went to Willy-shizzle's for a lil thursday poker cinco de mayo get together.

and a select budweiser can
add another
and another
then i'm supposedly cut off, man
then 2 shots of Cuervo
to bid the night adieu

others played poker
we tried the star wars game yet again
after trying the newest lord of the rings game.
then watched poker and some basketball
then played battlefront
then poker and basketball
then whatever else, followed by frank f'n sinatra.
man, a hella lot of pictures were taken.
scary. :) fun, funny, hilarious, but scary.
tee hee hee
it was a fun night.
NOTE TO EVERYONE: If yer gonna drink, and if the folks around you either know your limit, or even if they don't, but know you've had a wee bit much... don't fucking argue. just be cool, don't drive. not cuz it's to fuck with you, but because we care that you don't get hurt, and that ya don't hurt others.
30 mins more or so isn't gonna hurt.

Sounds like the new job is fitting in okay.
Did you eat Mexican food that day?
Heh..nah, i rarely go out.
the new job is fitting well... the last two weeks, i've cut back a deal and leaving work where I can still see sunlight.
'new' job, same stuff, just different badge.
as for food... lunch was fajitas, but dinner involved only alcoholic beverages.
this morning at work, i'm so glad it was donut friday cuz i had the munchies.
